STATEMENT FROM THE HEALTH SYSTEM ALLIANCE OF ARIZONA REGARDING GOVERNOR DUCEY’S ELECTIVE SURGERIES EXECUTIVE ORDER

Phoenix, AZ- The Health System Alliance of Arizona Executive Director Jennifer Carusetta issued the following statement regarding Governor Doug Ducey’s Elective Surgeries Executive Order:

“We appreciate Governor Ducey taking a statewide and thoughtful approach to allow hospitals with adequate resources and personal protective gear to resume elective surgeries. This is an important first step in addressing the financial strain on our hospital systems as we care for COVID-19 patients. We look forward to working with the Arizona Department of Health Services on implementing this new guidance.”
